One week to make your company easier to understand, sell, and grow.
This is probably for you if…
- People visit your website but still do not understand what you do.
- Your product can solve many problems, but you’re not sure which one should lead.
- You are targeting multiple audiences or markets without a clear priority.
- Your team relies on “all-in-one,” feature lists, or vague outcome language.
- Sales, marketing, and product each tell a different version of the story.
- You need to educate buyers on a new way of working before they understand why your product matters.
How it works
Stage | What happens | Outcome |
Before the workshop | Intake, asset collection, customer and competitive research, positioning audit | A clear view of the current story from an outside POV |
Meeting 1 | Strategic alignment | Agreement on the real positioning problem |
Meeting 2 | Positioning workshop | A chosen direction and the decisions behind it |
Meeting 3 | Messaging refinement | A shared source of truth your team can use |
1. Positioning audit
I review your intake, website, product and sales materials, customer language, sales-call recordings, competitive alternatives, go-to-market motion, and any existing positioning work. I look for the places where the story is clear, where it breaks down, and which strategic decisions are hiding underneath the messaging problem.
The audit gives us a shared starting point and means we spend our live time making decisions, not bringing me up to speed.
2. Alignment and option review
I turn the audit into a small set of clear positioning strategy options for us to review together.
We pressure-test the options together. We look at customer relevance, differentiation, credibility, business fit, and whether your team can actually execute the position. The goal is not to combine every good idea. It is to choose the strongest one.
3. Positioning and messaging creation
I translate the chosen position into a clear internal messaging deck or document and walk your team through it.
We decide:
- Who we are prioritizing
- What problem we want to be known for solving
- Which status quo or alternative we are replacing
- What makes your approach meaningfully different
- Which supporting messages and proof points make the position believable
4. Positioning and messaging refining
We refine the language, resolve final questions, and discuss how the story should show up across your website, sales conversations, product marketing, and future campaigns.
You leave with a strategic message your team understands, believes, and can put to work right away.
What you get
Internal positioning and messaging deck
This becomes the source of truth behind how your company talks about itself. It gives your team the strategic foundation needed to create a sharper website, sales deck, campaigns, one-pagers, product messaging, and launch materials without reinventing the story every time.
The full week at a glance
Why this format works
It moves fast
The work is compressed into one focused week so decisions do not disappear into months of stakeholder interviews and scattered feedback.
It forces decisions
Positioning requires deciding what to lead with and what to leave in the background. I bring clear recommendations and facilitate the decisions your team has struggled to make alone.
It is practical
The final deliverable is not an abstract strategy presentation. It is a simple document that can be put to work right away.
Who should be in the room?
The best group is the one that can make the final decisions.
Typically, that includes:
- The CEO, founder or business leader
- The sales or marketing leader
- A product or customer leader when their perspective is essential
Most companies should plan for two to four active participants.

Andy Kennedy Founder @ Ceremony
Logan brings clarity to the chaos. He asks the kind of questions that cut through noise and get to the heart of things. He listens, connect dots, and makes the complex feel simple. He's a team player. He's flexible and willing to adapt, but never at the expense of hitting the outcome. Having worked with him on multiple projects, I'm grateful we connected. I think you will be, too.
Julia Stead CMO @ Kindsight

Mike Pilarz Head of Corporate & Product Marketing
Logan has an incredible product marketing mind. He obsesses over the buyer, finding opportunities where their needs line up with business objectives. He's a truth teller, not afraid to challenge an organization's illusions about a market and help them see it as it really is. Logan is also one heck of a writer, clever when he needs to be, but never at the cost of clarity. He builds trust quickly and can collaborate with just about anyone. I recommend him without hesitation, and I hope I'm fortunate enough to work with him again.
Greg Hewitt VP Marketing @ 120Water

I can’t recommend Logan more highly.
Randy Stocklin Partner & CEO
I worked with Logan to evaluate a new business opportunity, and he crushed the deliverable. He set clear expectations for the output and timeline, asked great questions upfront, and independently managed the project from there—all with great communication and attitude! Logan gets my highest recommendation, and I'm excited to continue working with him.
Santi Jaramillo Founder & CEO
Logan is one of my favorite humans and go-to-market leaders to work with. From his friendly and generous attitude, to the strategic-ness of his thinking, to the breadth of the lanes he can contribute to, to the impeccable execution and quality of his work: working with Logan is a pleasure and one of the best investments I've made. Logan is world-class, I fully recommend him and his work.

Logan is a masterful storyteller. He can take a complicated product and make it feel cohesive and compelling. His output is really high, yet he manages to consistently produce work that connects on a human level.
Jeff Biberdorf Director of Growth
The work gave us a messaging foundation that finally reflects what we do—and one we’re excited to build on. If you’re trying to sharpen your positioning or build a site that actually reflects what you do, Logan’s the partner you want in the room.
Rebecca Shaddix Head of Product Marketing
Logan consistently delivers a high caliber of work, demonstrating a deep understanding of both product intricacies and market dynamics.
Cody Bernard Director of Product Marketing
I brought Logan on as a contractor for a short stint and could not have been happier with the work he put forth. Logan ran a pretty tight, cross-functional launch process that helped get two new features to market in a very short period of time. With Logan taking lead on that work, I was able to focus on the work that really needed my immediate attention. Loved working with Logan and would work with him again in a heartbeat.
